Recently, when I try to find the saved videos nothing shows up. It will not upload photos if you have run out of space. The ability to save the photos is not reliable. It is a waste of effort and time to try to use.īecause it offers unlimited storage, this product gets two stars. Although the Amazon app is great, this app has to be the worst for photo editing. You can click on things, but nothing happens. You can select several and then say, "Delete x amount of phtotos forever". ![]() The Prime Photo interface, however, is quite basic. It would be great to search for files using optional wildcard characters, like Windows Explorer. While I like that Amazon can back up all my photos, the interface to search for particular photos is poor. The customer support doesn't attempt to solve the problem. All photos are automatically synced to the app. Everything is synced to your phone and deleted photos will also be removed from the app. Uploading and deleting photos is not possible. I can browse my photos already stored, just upload never starts. Setting up cellular data to "auto-upload", doesn't work. However, the app believes that I am connected to a wireless network and will not upload any photos. T-Mobile Home Internet is what I use to back up my Galaxy Fold photos. This cannot be used to backup photos from my Galaxy Fold 3 in 100%. Amazing! It's amazing to be able to order, store, share, and have prints shipped right to your doorstep! It's amazing! Amazon Photos is the cause of my problem, according to my phone. Uploading via my phone from a wifi connection slows down internet access in the house, making streaming impossible. You can delete one, and it will bring you back up to the top. It's good, but it can be annoying to deal with the old photos at the bottom. Amazon Photos should have these features in order to be the best. We don't wish to print the photos from our printers. You can also print your photos from Amazon Photos. ![]() Amazon Photos does not have a photo editor. However, you can see the rest in the web version.Īmazon Photos is an amazing App! It is very user-friendly and allows you to organize your photos in albums. The app shows only a small portion of images I have uploaded. There is no way to filter or exclusion one. The app mixes photos from your phone with those in the cloud. Most of them will still load when I tap on them. My photos often have no thumbnails, but a broken symbol instead. There is no way to choose whether you want to sort by file name or album. It refreshes my screen constantly, bringing me back to top. The app can also change the name of the person in photos. Because some photos I have are private, it's difficult to get them off my TV. ![]() The idea of random photos from the app showing up on my TV if I'm not watching it for long periods of time is something that doesn't appeal to me. If you want to backup old photos, the app can be used as a backup. You can't change tab order, or transfer pictures to a new device. I tried clicking on some pictures to place in folders but they didn't go to my folders. First, you cannot change your view or organize your photos. It took me a while to get this setup working. This is a very annoying feature and a bit too shortsighted. These photos should be separated, not duplicated. When I go to my cloud photos, I do not want my phone pictures. It's because you cannot turn off the annoying feature. It works well, but it does strange things. Although "Daily Memories", is a neat feature, it does not always display photos from the exact day or the month. It's a nice feature to be able to access all of your Amazon devices with a display. There seems to always be some delay in accessing photos or videos via the Amazon TV app. It's not terrible, but the app would run better on every platform.
